Numark Mixtrack Pro Djay Algoriddim

I recently got a Numark Mixdeck Quad. Love it. I also really like using Djay Pro on my Macbook Pro. From what I read it isn't really compatible and MIDI mapping is needed. I have been able to use the two together fairly well but recently a deck will stop during a set. I am also concerned the sound isn't right. I am new to the Mixdeck Quad but sometimes it seems it isn't doing things 'right'. Should I wait for someone to post MIDI mapping for Djay Pro / Mixdeck Quad. Algoriddim led me to believe it would be compatible.
I also have Djay 2 on my iPad2. I have an iPad Air 2 as well but no apps are in that.
My question is what is my best setup?

Numark iDJ Pro users using an Apple iOS device with iOS 8 and djay2, may at times experience difficulty connecting their iDJ Pro to the djay2 app. This is not a hardware-caused symptom and is due to some adjustments that need to be made in the app on iOS 8. If you experience these symptoms, follow the steps suggested in this guide and you will be back up and running in no time!

  1. Connect your iDJ Pro to an iPad/iPhone. Ensure your using an officially supported Apple lighting adapter.

  2. No apps should be running or open at this time.


  3. Launch the djay2 app.


  4. In the djay2 app, navigate to SETTINGS > MIDI > Rescan for MIDI controllers. Click on this option a few times to rescan for MIDI controllers and to ensure the iDJ Pro was properly scanned by the djay2 app.


  5. Exit SETTINGS in the djay2 app and begin to use your djay2 app!
