Very personal choice. Can’t really advise on that one.
A setting of 1 means that if you hit play the track will start playing on the first new beat of the playing track. The lower the setting (1/2, 1/4, etx.) the more “snappy” your play button will react, but you need to be more accurate in hitting play. And so it all depends on your playing style. If you cue juggle, you might want a short setting for example. Again, you need to play around with it, try a few things out and see which suits your way best.
